Quick Answers

What are your hours of operation?

Safe Shooting Solutions is available 24/7. We understand that firearm safety and training don't always fit into a 9-to-5 schedule. You can reach out to us via phone or text anytime to ask questions or schedule your training.

Where are the classes held?

While we provide digital support and phone consultations for residents island-wide, all live-fire and classroom training takes place at our facilities in Kailua-Kona. Students traveling from other districts will need to commute to Kona for their official certification.

How old do I need to be to take a class?

To apply for a Permit to Acquire a handgun or a License to Carry (LTC) in Hawaii, you must be at least 21 years old. If you have specific questions about youth safety training or long gun hunting requirements, please call us directly to discuss options.

Do you offer private classes?

Yes! We offer private classes tailored to your specific skill level, whether you are a complete beginner looking for a quiet, low-stress environment or an experienced shooter wanting advanced precision drills. Contact us to schedule a 1-on-1 session. We also can host groups up to 4 people!
